Sometimes, we luck out with a client who has the resources to push our talents to the max and we get to throw an event with that extra special touch.

We were stoked when Brittany and Jared approached us to conceive a culinary concept that would take their celebration to the next level. After many hours of meetings and deliberation with our Corporate Chef, Daryl Kerr, we were ready to impress their guests.

For the 4th year in a row, the Bow Valley Ranche Restaurant hosted its successful Harvest Dinner event last week. About 100 guests gathered to indulge in the farm-to-table dishes.

Dishes were carefully curated and prepared by Jenny Kang with the help of the restaurant owner Ulrich Kuenz and his team. A very hands-on owner, at 71, Ulrich puts his heart and soul into every project, including event planning, logistics and even stirring the pots along his loyal cooks.

The 8th annual Pig & Pinot Festival was presented by City Palate, in support of Calgary Meals on Wheels. 12 award-winning Calgarian chefs offered their best pork dish to be paired with pinot noir wines from some of the city’s top suppliers.

Chef Jenny Kang of the Bow Valley Ranche Restaurant won the 2018 Pig & Pinot competition on June 16, 2018 held at Hotel Arts. Kang collected the prestigious Divine Swine trophy for her Pork Meatball Arancini recipe.
